Cross City Poems & Stories Anthologies

Witnessing the work produced on the Taliesin poetry and short story writing classes, Poetry Into Light was inspired to work with Taliesin Arts Centre to produce a series of anthologies; Opening the Lens (Oct 2023) and Cross City Poems and Stories (June 2024). These anthologies are some of the sessions’ participants first steps into seeing their work in print and going through a gentle edit and polish process. The anthologies showcase the inspirational work produced in classes from a range of exciting exercises that stimulate new ways of writing and also hone existing skills. Anthologies from Poetry Into Light always include work by guest professional writers, so far we have featured Matt Smith of Black Bough Poetry and will be including work from Natalie Ann Holborow in our June 2024 anthology, with in-house art from class members!
